Intermec, IBM to jointly develop wireless products for logistics management
EVERETT, Wash. (Nov. 28, 2001) — Saying they want to get “everyone from the shop floor to delivery organizations unplugged and productive,” Intermec Technologies and International Business Machines said they will jointly develop customized wireless communications products for automotive, manufacturing, and transportation logistics management.
Under the terms of the agreement, Intermec will develop wireless networking software for IBM hardware.
