Road weight restrictions lifted in NS
HALIFAX -- Weight restrictions in eight Nova Scotia counties are being removed today. The province's Transportation department has announced those counties as Halifax, Hants, Kings, Annapolis, Digby, Yarmouth, Shelburne, Queens and Lunenburg. Individual roads in those counties could still be posted for lower weights, however. Restrictions will also remain in effect in the rest of the province until further notice.
