PNV, PeopLease join forces
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – PNV Inc. , an information provider to the trucking and logistics industry, has agreed to have its products packaged by PeopLease, a transportation human-resources company.
“PeopLease understands that driver attrition and poor job satisfaction are due to a lack of connectivity, and it is a major reason why we are so excited to work with PNV,” says D.W. Speer, CEO of PeopLease.
Specifically, PeopLease will offer PNV’s Fleet Connect service to all drivers on PeopLease’s clients’ payroll, providing in-cab telephone access, voice mail messaging, and a driver locator service.
Introduced last year, Fleet Connect has been designed to be driver friendly, and, hopefully, lessen the driver attrition rate that plagues the trucking industry.
PeopLease has several hundred fleet customers, ranging in size from five trucks to over 100 trucks, and has more than 7,000 driverss in its programs. n
