Reimer, parent expand PAPS use
AKRON, Ohio – Reimer Express Lines has expanded its participation in the U.S. Customs’ Pre-Arrival Processing System (PAPS). Reimer drivers forward export documents to a broker, who presents the papers to U.S. Customs, while the shipment is still in transit. PAPS is now available at Port Huron, Mich.; Champlain and Niagara Falls, N.Y.; and Pembina, N.D. Detroit, Mich. and Blaine, Wash. may be added soon. n
