Alta dealer named 2006 Kenworth Dealer of Year
KIRKLAND, Wash. — Edmonton Kenworth is the best truck dealer in North America, according to the truckmaker.
The dealer was named 2006 Kenworth Dealer of the Year for the United States and Canada at the annual Kenworth Dealer Meeting held recently in Tucson, Ariz.

King, president of Edmonton Kenworth. “We have outstanding employees, great Kenworth trucks that are truly the world’s Best, and loyal customers that we work hard to support every day. It’s extremely satisfying to me and our employees to be recognized for our efforts.”
Edmonton Kenworth was chosen from among Kenworth’s six Gold Award winners for 2006. Other Gold Award winners are Inland Kenworth – U.S. (California, Arizona and New Mexico), Kenworth of South Texas (Pharr, Texas), MHC Kenworth (Kansas City), MHC Kenworth (Oklahoma) and Motor Power Kenworth (Great Falls, Mont.).
Other Canadian Kenworth dealers to be honored with 2006 Silver awards winners which are: GreatWest Kenworth in Alberta, Inland Kenworth in B.C. (Canada), Kenworth Maska in Quebec, and Kenworth Montreal.
Edmonton Kenworth services northern Alberta operating first-class facilities and provides Kenworth truck sales, parts, service, paint, body shop and full-service leasing to the oilfield, logging and highway markets. The dealer operates three full-service locations, including two in Edmonton. This past year, the dealer relocated its dealership in Lloydminster, Alb., to a new, 19-bay, 37,000 square-foot facility.
Edmonton Kenworth isn’t new to the awards podium. The dealership won the 2001 Kenworth Dealer of the Year Award and has won a Kenworth Gold Award for the past four years.
