Bendix takes full control of brake biz; wins award for Wingman
ELYRIA, Ohio — Bendix Foundation Brakes are now exclusively supported by Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems sales and service teams, following expiration of an agreement with the Roadranger.
The company says that customers seeking sales, service, or technical support for Bendix brand foundation brakes and wheel-end products are now getting information exclusively through the Bendix organization.
This includes account managers, Bendix SWAT team members, www.foundationbrakes.com, and the Bendix Tech Team members who offer service support via 1-800-AIR-BRAKE.
In related news, Bendix is the recipient of the Frost & Sullivan 2011 North American Product Leadership of the Year Award in the Commercial Vehicle Safety Systems Market.
Frost & Sullivan is honoring Bendix specifically for the company’s Bendix Wingman Advanced system — A collision mitigation technology.
The awards recognize companies in a variety of regional and global markets for demonstrating "outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development."
