Daimler says Cummins ISX option 9Gs more
PORTLAND, Ore. — Daimler Trucks North America says its Cummins big-bore ISX15 engine offering will have an added emissions surcharge of $9,000 per vehicles.
Daimler recently announced that its Detroit Diesel BlueTec option for heavy-duty engines will have the same surcharge.
A surcharge of $7,300 will be added to vehicles equipped with the Cummins ISC8.3 engine, and a $6,700 surcharge will be added to the price of vehicles equipped with Cummins ISB6.7 engines.
