Haldex has introduced its Haldex/Anchorlok Life Seal, claiming it’s the most advanced double diaphragm spring brake on the market.
The Life Seal is designed to eliminate contamination by completely sealing the emergency brake chamber. It requires no vent holes, air filters, caging tool plug, or external breather tube. Rather, air is exhausted via a unique internal valve through the vehicle’s air system.
The result is a long product life and consistent applications. The increased wire diameter of the Life Seal’s heat-treated compression spring enables its output force to outlast other spring brakes.
For easy installation and retrofit, Haldex provides the industry with the smallest standard and long stroke spring brake with the introduction of the Life Seal. Within the spring brake, a patented form fit pressure plate has been incorporated to reduce the overall spring brake length.
The Life Seal comes with unconditional six-year, unlimited mileage warranty coverage on the spring brake.
