International T&E rolls out newest class 5
WARRENVILLE, Ill. — International Truck and Engine has announced the launch of a new Class 5 conventional truck. The new International 4100 is ideal for a wide variety of applications such as construction, landscaping, flatbed operations, service body, dry van and utility service needs.
Built with long lasting and rugged medium commercial truck components used in International’s line of Class 6 and 7 trucks, the International 4100 is uniquely positioned in the Class 5 market to deliver superior life cycle value, the company says.
Among some of the many features that distinguish the International 4100, available in 17,800 GVW and 19,500 GVW, are the following:
— A spacious cab with available air-ride suspension and optional crew cab or extended cab. Recognized as the industry standard, the cab is built to automotive tolerances for a comfortable and quiet environment.
–Durable frame ladder system supported by a 7-year limited frame warranty for more demanding jobs
— Commercial grade, 4-wheel hydraulic disc brakes equipped with 15-inch rotors
— The exclusive International Diamond Logic Electric system, a self-diagnosing system that brings integrated intelligence to truck operations. It provides a range of body integration benefits, including increased reliability and maximized uptime.
— Available Aware Vehicle Intelligence, a comprehensive telematics offering for improved fleet productivity.
Built with an International VT-365 engine with a 230-horsepower, 540 lb.-ft. torque rating and an Allison 1000 Series transmission, the 4100 offers superior maneuverability and visibility, says the truckmaker. The International 4100 is built on a low-profile frame for easy loading and unloading.
The International 4100 is now available through the International dealer network, one of the largest in the truck industry.
