KW’s convertible without the rag top

Call it a convertible without the ragtop.

Kenworth’s extended daycab for T600, T800, and W900 models adds six inches to the cab length, mounts the seat two inches farther back from the steering wheel, offers a seat recline up to 21 degrees, and creates 2-1/2 cubic feet of storage on the rear wall.

Better still, it can add years of life and value to your used highway tractor.

The kit is oriented at vocational haulers who want to make their current daycab bigger, and at any KW owner who wants to boost the resale value of his AeroCab-equipped highway tractor (daycabs tend to hold their value better in the used truck market). You can buy the back cab panel from Kenworth’s parts organization and have the dealer’s body shop install it (the job takes about 20 hours worth of labour).
