LEDS ‘STRIPLIGHTS’
TruckLite describes this new product as “revolutionary” — the LED Super Strip-Lite, which uses Light Emitting Diodes evenly spaced on a fabricated aluminum channel. It seems ideal for tricky lighting jobs, such as if you’re lighting the inside of delivery vans or the like. The 4-ft strips use 12 diodes while the 2-ft versions use six. Either can be shaped in two styles of extrusions, shaped for corners or on to flat surfaces, so they can go almost anywhere but are most effective in tight spots or along a horizontal or vertical shelf or cabinet surface.
Lamps draw 0.7 amps for each 6-diode/2-ft strip and the white LED light is brighter than other forms of interior lighting, so colours are truer and freight easier to identify.
