MitFuso has new boss for NA ops

LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus has named Todd Bloom as the new president and CEO of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America.

He succeeds Takeo Ishimaru, MFTA chief financial officer, who has been serving as acting president.

Working out of the company’s New Jersey headquarters, Bloom will be responsible for all aspects of MFTA’s business operations

Bloom has held a variety of leadership positions in the North American commercial vehicle industry. He joined Isuzu in 1997 and subsequently served as vice president of marketing. Before joining Isuzu, Bloom held logistics, marketing and operations positions with Iveco in the United Kingdom, Italy and the U.S.
