Cummins X15 Pt 1: An Overview
COLUMBUS, IN -- As engine platforms go, Cummins' ISX has to be considered slightly remarkable. It was introduced in 1998, although the program that brought the engine to life began in 1994. It survived the transition to EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) and then to SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) aftertreatment. Several other engines did not. Talbert’s 55-ton extendable trailer
Talbert Manufacturing's new 55SA-TELE heavy-haul trailer is ready to haul an array of large equipment such as bridge beams, conveyors and tanks -- but one of the most innovative features is the way the trailer's size can shrink for return journeys. The 54-foot decks can be retracted to 32.5 feet; the overall length drops to 53 feet.
Talbert’s 50-ton bus hauler
Talbert Manufacturing's new 50-ton bus hauler, the 50CC-BH, has been designed to haul everything from buses to excavators as well as equipment with low clearance and long wheelbases. It includes a 20,000-pound planetary in-deck winch that can be used to load equipment from either end of the trailer. Extra steel has been introduced into the deck's main and side beams, as well as the gooseneck and rear axles.
