Phillips Industries expands Canadian presence
MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Electrical and air brake equipment manufacturer Phillips Industries has opened an Eastern Canada Distribution Center in Mississauga, Ont.
The new site expands the company’s commitment to the Canadian market by having multiple distribution locations providing improved customer support and on-time delivery performance. California-based Phillips Industries now operates four facilities in the U.S. and Canada.
Steve Toye has been named distribution center manager. Additionally, John Bailey and Daniel Gagne have joined the company as territory sales managers. Rob Phillips, director of operations, believes that “opening an eastern Canadian facility, with a dedicated customer service team, and adding key sales personnel in Canada certainly supports our business in this important market.”
