Quebec Paccar plant wins prestigious biz award

STE. THERESE, Que. — Paccar’s plant in Ste. Therese, Que., was named “Business of the Year” and received the Human Resources award in the large business category at the 27th edition of the Mercuriades competition.

The competition is sponsored by the Quebec Federation of Chambers of Commerce to celebrate outstanding achievements of Quebec businesses which distinguish themselves by their excellence.

The Ste. Therese facility makes T300 medium-duty trucks.

The Quebec Federation Chamber of Commerce represents a large network of 162 chambers of commerce and 57,000 members exerting their professions in all sectors of the Quebec economy and territory. The business network is one of the most important in Quebec, which enables the organization to support the development of a business environment that is innovating and competitive.
