Sterling 360 wins Editor’s Choice Award

REDFORD, Mich. – The new Sterling 360 low cab-over truck has won the Editors’ Choice Award for New Product Innovation at The Work Truck Show 2006.

Introduced at a February 28 press conference during The Work Truck Show in Atlanta, Ga., the Sterling 360 received the highest number of editorial votes for the best new product or product innovation at the show.

“We are honoured to receive this recognition and are pleased that our respected colleagues in the media are as excited as we are about the Sterling 360,” said John Merrifield, senior vice-president of distribution, Freightliner. “Introducing Sterling’s first Class 3-5 low cab-over-engine truck was a great accomplishment for the brand and we look forward to its continued success.”

With the tagline “Better All Around”, Sterling officials say the 360 boasts several innovative features including leading fuel economy (which they say can be improved up to 19 per cent over the competition), easy entry and egress, a large cab, outstanding maneuverability and visibility, and a body builder-preferred design.
