Vocational trailer manufacturer names new president
WINNIPEG — Doug Harvey, principal owner of construction trailer maker, Arne’s Welding, has appointed Gerald (Butch) Bouchard to the position of president.
Bouchard replaces Bob Munro who recently retired.
"We thank Bob for his tremendous leadership at Arne’s over the past four years and wish him well in his much deserved retirement,” says Doug Harvey. "Bob led the company through a change of ownership phase and introduced a positive culture of process improvement at Arne’s using the principles of LEAN Management."
Harvey says that Bouchard’s "extensive hands-on experience in the gravel and construction industries," makes him an "ideal choice to take the reins at Arne’s and lead the dedicated team of engineering, production, sales and support staff."
Prior to Arne’s, Bouchard spent 25 years at Midland Manufacturing where he began his career as a welder, building trailers on the shop floor.
He took on new roles and responsibilities over the years and in 2001 was promoted to the role of general manager.
Bouchard says his goal is to profitably grow the business and further enhance the products that Arne’s manufactures.
