’03 Windsor Workshop to focus on security of energy supplies

OTTAWA (Oct. 4, 2002) — The security of energy supplies will be the focus of the 2003 Windsor Workshop, the annual conference on transportation energy policies and trends sponsored by Natural Resources Canada and the U.S. Dept. of Energy.

The three-day event, which takes place June 2-5, also will cover policies on climate change and transportation. It will take place at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto.

The sponsors have issued a call for papers to be presented at the event.

The Windsor Workshop has been held on a regular basis since 1983, and serves as a venue for specialists from the trucking industry, automotive industry, governments, and academia to discuss concerns and share the latest information in the field of transportation technologies.
