APTA donates to worthy cause

DIEPPE, N.B. — The Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association presented a cheque for $13,000 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, yesterday.

The cheque was presented to Dave Ramdail and Sara Robinson,
representing JDRF. The funds were raised through a lobster evening and
silent auction which coincided with the Association’s Atlantic Truck Show.
Every year, the APTA Associated Trades Council hosts events to raise
funds to donate to a worthy cause.

‘We are very pleased to present this amount to such a worthy
organization. We are very proud of the generosity of this Industry and
know these funds will be put to good use in the fight against Juvenile
Diabetes,” says Doug Banfield, APTA associated trades chairman.
