Armoyan hands over the reins at Clarke
HALIFAX — Clarke Inc., a diverse public company with several trucking-transportation holdings, has made Rob Normandeau the president and CEO, effective December 31, 2008.
Currently, Normandeau serves as Chief Operating Officer.
George Armoyan, current president and CEO will assume the post of Executive Chairman.
Dean Cull, president of Clarke Transport and Clarke Road Transport, will continue to serve as chief operating officer, Freight Transportation Services.
"Rob is dedicated, hard working and has done an excellent job while with Clarke. I will continue to support him as we consolidate our investments and focus our efforts on those businesses that we feel will generate the best long term return for our shareholders," Armoyan stated in a press release.
Meanwhile, Matthew Towns has been put in the position of VP, Research and Risk Management. He joins Blair Cook, VP and Chief Financial Officer, and Melinda Lee, VP Investments, to round out the senior executive team.
