Arrow Truck Sales to expand in Canada, hires former SelecTrucks executive Oliveira

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 5, 2002) — Arrow Truck Sales, a network of used-truck outlets and the sole remarketing arm for used trucks for Volvo and Mack, said it plans to expand its Canadian sales efforts and open a new location in Calgary by the end of the year.

Former Freightliner of Canada national used-truck sales manager Frank Oliveira has been named vice-president of Arrow Truck Sales Canada. David Hemphill, a former used-truck manager at Greatwest Kenworth in Alberta, has been hired as branch manager in Calgary.

The company also said it would improve its inventory of all makes and models, specifically Volvo and Mack, and renovate its Toronto facility. Arrow is owned by Volvo Trucks North America.

“We will not be stopping here. We will continue future expansion efforts with additional locations and satellite facilities throughout Canada,” said Ed Justis, president and CEO of Arrow Truck Sales.
