Atlantic Pete dealer settles in new digs
MONCTON, N.B.– Peterbilt New Brunswick recently welcomed loyal and prospective customers to its brand new dealership facility in Moncton.
The new, state-of-the-art 36,000 sq ft store is located in the Caledonia Industrial Park on 565 Venture drive.
"We moved to this new location because of the economic demand. We simply out grew our old location," says Tom Dykeman, operations manager
The new location has 12 service bays and one wash bay at the end of the building to hold a complete truck trailer combination. There are separate rooms built off of the service bays to do detailed engine and transmission repairs.
Other features include a full length overhead crane in the service area, in floor heating, retractable air lines that are used by the technicians, a special VIS truck inspection machine, a modern laser alignment machine, a soon-to-be-added lift hoist, and state of the art multimedia video displays throughout the store.
Also, a drivers’ lounge with enough comfort to relax, have a shower, or do laundry is included.
"We have had our customers in mind during the complete construction. We even went so far as to install a concrete pad in our rear customer parking lot designed specifically for loaded trailers to have a hard surface for the heat of the summer when a customer has to drop their trailer to have the truck repaired," adds Dykeman.
For the past four years, the dealer has been recognized by Peterbilt with the "Peterbilt Platinum Oval of Achievement" award.
