Auto B2B conference scheduled
DETROIT (August 28, 2001) — Supply chain managers for automotive component manufacturers will meet in Detroit in October to discuss how the Internet can help businesses manage their supply chains more effectively.
The e-Collaboration & e-Supply Chain Management Conference 2001 is scheduled Oct. 3 and 4 at the Cobo Center in Detroit. Senior executives from Lear, Johnson Controls, TRW Automotive, Yazaki, and American Axle & Manufacturing are expected to participate. At the end of the first day, delegates will have the opportunity to attend an workshop from Covisint, the Internet-based supply-chain management initiative for the auto industry.
