Autocar lays out sales territories for U.S., Canada
UNION CITY, Ind. (March 11, 2002) — Autocar LLC, the division of Grand Vehicle Works which acquired the name and Xpeditor line of severe-service vehicles from Volvo Trucks last year, realigned its sales territories for the United States and Canada.
The company also added four sales managers, including Gene Parker, previously with Volvo, as director of national accounts.
The company said Alberta and British Columbia are part of the Northwest sales territory; Manitoba and Saskatchewan are part of the North Central region; Ontario and Quebec belong to the Northeast region.
Autocar has two dozen dealers in the United States, and plans to add Canadian dealers starting this year, the company said. The president of Autocar is Bob Enright, the former president of Western Star Trucks.
