Bedard named general manager of Sterling Truck’s Canadian operations
WILLOUGHBY, Ohio (May 15, 2000) — Sterling Truck Corp. named Jole J. Bedard as general manager of Sterling Truck in Canada. Bedard reports to John Merrifield, Sterling’s senior vice-president of sales and marketing. Bedard is responsible for supporting Sterling dealers’ sales activities throughout Canada. He is based in Mississauga, Ont.
Bedard was most recently general manager of a Freightliner-owned dealership in Vancouver, B.C. He holds a degree in Commerce from Laval College.
Bedard succeeds Tom Dobson, who is retiring. Dobson has been SterlingÕs Canadian General Manager since Sterling began operations in January 1998.
