Bendix broadens brake line
When Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems said it planned to expand its hydraulic brake product catalog, it didn’t fool around. The company has added 14,000 new part numbers, representing an increase of five times its current hydraulics offering. The additional components include pads, rotors, drums, calipers, master and wheel cylinders, boosters, and hardware kits for most applications. Bendix says it wants to offer a complete line of aftermarket hydraulics products for light- and medium-duty vehicles.
The company also expanded its hydraulics sales, marketing, and technical assistance team. “In the aftermarket, a trusted, reliable source for replacement hydraulic components is critical,” says Mike Caggiano, product line director for specialty products at Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems. “With our expanded hydraulics line, Bendix is now a one-stop shop for distributors and fleets. Everything they need is available from a single source.”
