Bendix upgrades XVision

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems
Bendix has added several new enhancements to its XVision thermal-imaging suite, including a 360-degree view. XVision consists of a roof-mounted camera and a dash-mounted display, and allows drivers to see three to five times farther than they can with regular headlights.

Ideal mostly for fire and rescue applications, the package includes the original XVision launched in 2001, an LED-assisted camera for side and rear field of view, a joystick-controlled pan-and-tilt thermal imaging camera, and a flat-panel display unit.
