Bison places first at TCA awards with lowest accident rate
WIINIPEG — Bison Transport, One of Canada’s largest and most safety conscious fleets, has once again taken the top prize at the coveted Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) National Fleet Safety Awards.
The consecutive three-time winner placed first in the over 100 million miles category with the lowest DOT reportable accident rate.
Bison Transport is now eligible to compete a fourth consecutive National Fleet Safety Award grand prize in the above 25 million miles division.
In addition to the company’s achievement, long time Bison driver John (Ralph) Boles has been named as a finalist in the TCA’s annual Company Equipment Driver of the Year competition.
Equipment Driver of the Year and the National Fleet Safety Award will be announced on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at the TCA Annual Convention in Orlando.
