Border hours extended at Port of Wild Horse

HAVRE, Mont. — Canada Border Services says it will extend hours at the port of Wild Horse – a move which mirrors a project the U.S. has already implemented.

U.S. officials are extending hours at the port in Havre, Mont. to 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., instead of 8 to 5 from March until the end of October.

Yesterday, Canadian officials said they will follow suit on their side, at Highway 21 in Alberta, near Medicine Hat.

U.S. Senator Jon Tester said, "If those hours are different, it kind of muddies the water. They’re the same now. So, people have dependable hours now."
