Bostrom Seating sold
NEW ALBANY, Ohio – Commercial vehicle seat supplier Bostrom Seating has been sold to Commercial Vehicle Group, which manufacturers static and suspension seat systems, electrical wire harness assemblies, and controls and switches for commercial vehicles.
The deal is reportedly worth about $8.8 million.
Bostrom, a division of Accuride Corp., has one manufacturing facility in Piedmont, Ala., and an engineering office in Wixom, Mich.
"This acquisition further expands our North American presence in certain key end markets and enhances our overall aftermarket position with the addition of the Bostrom Seating brand of products," said Mervin Dunn, president and CEO of Commercial Vehicle Group.
