Brad Thiessen to lead Freightliner of Canada
MISSISSAUGA, Ont. (Feb. 26, 2002) — Freightliner Trucks has named Freightliner Mid-Ontario general manager Brad Thiessen to lead its sales organization in Canada.
Thiessen will take over as general manager and vice-president of sales at Freightliner of Canada Ltd., based in Mississauga, Ont., on March 18. He will replace John Cecconi, who resigned in December.
Thiessen was appointed general manager of Freightliner Mid-Ontario in 1999 when the dealership was acquired by Freightliner Trucks parent Freightliner LLC. The dealership operates a main facility in Mississauga, a branch in Pickering, and a parts location in Concord.
Chris Ritchie will replace Thiessen as general manager at Freightliner Mid-Ontario. He previously was manager of the Pickering branch.
