Calgary company to provide CNG system for Navistar remans
CALGARY (April 2, 2001) — Alternative Fuel Systems, a developer of natural gas fuel systems for gasoline and diesel engines, will develop its Sparrow compressed natural gas engine control system for the Navistar DT466 diesel engine platform.
The announcement stems from an agreement with a private diesel engine re-manufacturing company in Dallas, Texas.
Vice-president of sales James Newsom said AFS has developed a similar conversion system for General Motors’ Vortec engine.
