Canadian drives ‘coolest’ rig
EDMONTON (Oct. 4, 1999) — Darren Andrychuk of DKA Trucking Inc. is the grand prize winner of the BFGoodrich commercial truck tires 1999 Cool Rigs contest.
Andrychuk was awarded his prize on Friday during a ceremony held at Truxpo ’99, held last weekend in Edmonton.
The BFGoodrich Cool Rigs contest awards the “coolest” rig from among nearly 100 entries.
“The contest generated a high level of excitement and activity throughout the BFGoodrich Commercial Truck Tires dealer network,” said Dougie MacDonald, BFGoodrich Market Segment Manager Canada. “We received over 100 entries from across Canada.”
Andrychuk will receive 10 BFGoodrich truck tires as well as a Cool Rigs windshirt. His winning truck will be featured in BFGoodrich Commercial Truck Tires’ 2000 calendar.
