CAT Scale weighs in on Flying J locations
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — CAT Scale will now be replacing J-Scales at all Flying J Travel plaza locations as a result of the merger with Pilot Travel Centers.
CAT Scale is in the process of completely rebuilding each scale at 134 Flying J locations to meet its specifications. The company is also adding CAT Scales at six locations that currently do not have a scale.
"Each scale will be completely rebuilt with new concrete and new equipment; right down to the sign poles," said Delia Moon Meier, senior vice president.
The overhaul will take about 15 months, with locations being completed and opened each month.
