CBP organizes ACE outreach events this week

DETROIT — The U. S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) field office in Detroit says it will host three ACE “Carrier Outreach Events” this week.

The educational seminars will take place from August 28-30, 2007.

CBP says the events provide carriers another opportunity to learn more about CBP Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) truck e-manifest policies and functionality. Carriers will also be able to discuss e-manifest issues with an ACE Support Team (AST) member.

The workshops will take place in: Sault Ste. Marie on Tuesday, Aug. 28; Port Huron on Wednesday, Aug. 29; and Detroit on Thursday, Aug. 30.

Questions related to these events may be directed to LaDonna Evelyn at the Detroit field office: 313/496-2186.
