CBSA to eliminate current highway carrier code
TORONTO — With the implementation of the advanced notification eManifest on October 31, 2010, Canada Border Services Agency will scrap the generic itinerant highway carrier code "77YY" for commercial cross-border activity.
CBSA will assign a unique carrier code for all carriers.
The 77YY" code will be transitioned out through to March 31, 2011.?
