CCRA plans Calgary seminar on Customs Self Assessment

OTTAWA (Aug. 12, 2002) — The Canada Customs and Revenue Agency will hold a seminar on its Customs Self Assessment (CSA) program on Sept. 23 in Calgary.

Tailored to trucking companies, the event will cover the application and approval process and other elements of the CSA program.

The event, scheduled for the Greenwood Inn from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., is free. For details, call 403/292-4150.

CSA is a voluntary program designed to help speed the clearance of goods, drivers, and vehicles across the border into Canada.
