Celadon named Walmart’s top carrier
INDIANAPOLIS — Celadon Group was awarded by Walmart Stores its prestigious General Merchandise Diamond Carrier of the Year.
"Celadon has set themselves apart from other carrier partners in the industry by going above and beyond to service our customers and exceeding our service expectations," said Ken Braunbach, senior director for Carrier Relations.
He said Celadon’s customer service, operational efficiency and its ability to offer creative solutions to the retail giant’s complex supply chain system set the carrier apart from other service providers.
"Walmart realizes the continued pressure and challenges facing the transportation industry," added Braunbach. "Celadon’s ability to rise above these obstacles is outstanding."
Indiana-based Celadon operates a dedicated Canadian fleet from Kitchener, Ont.
