Clarke sells Concord Transport to ATS Andlauer
TORONTO, (Dec. 18, 2003) — One of Canada’s largest for-hire carriers and logistics providers, Clarke Inc., has sold its Concord Transportation subsidiary to ATS Andlauer Transportation Services Inc. of Toronto. In return, Clarke will get 30 per cent ownership in ATS.
Concord offers expedited LTL, TL and specialized logistics services across North America, with extensive U.S. coverage.
Additionally, ATS CEO Michael Andlauer has joined Clarke’s board of directors.
“Michael’s success and operational experience in the transportation and logistics industry will prove to be a valuable addition to Clarke’s Board. Michael is well respected as an industry leader and his experience will help lead Clarke’s future growth,” Clarke president George Armoyan said in a press release.
