Continental Tire Canada hikes rubber prices
TORONTO — Continental Tire Canada Inc. has announced a price increase due to the continued escalation of transportation and other related operational expenses. The adjustment of up to 8 percent affects all Continental, General Tire and Associate Brand passenger and light truck tires in the replacement channel.
The increase, effective Jan. 1, 2007, will vary by marketing line and-or size.
Toronto-based Continental is a division of Continental Tire North America Inc. a German-owned supplier of brake systems, chassis components, vehicle electronics, tires and technical elastomers.
