Countin’ the miles with CR
Chicago Rawhide calls its new CR Hubodometer a “foolproof” way to track scheduled maintenance and safety inspections and document distance-related warranties on tires, batteries, brakes, and other components.
The unit is strictly mechanical–there’s no wiring or complicated programming. It has gear ratios to match virtually any tire spec and counts upward in forward or reverse and can be mounted on either side of the vehicle. The gas-sealed unit is designed to be airtight and waterproof even in extreme service and temperatures. It also mates easily to a CR Scotseal hubcap. The company backs the unit with a 700,000-km warranty.
