Cowan Insurance names new branch manager
OTTAWA, Ont. – Cowan Insurance announced tDavid McNamara has been appointed as the branch manager, brokerage division Ottawa office today. 
In his new position, McNamara will be in charge of the overall strategy and development of Cowan’s commercial and personal lines in Ottawa. He will also be leading the company’s Ottawa P&C team.
Before joining Cowan, McNamara spent more than 25 years working for well-known insurance brokerages in Ontario and Quebec in a multitude of leadership roles. He has experience in working with risk mangers and has expertise and relationships in the manufacturing and construction segment (where Cowan is focusing on).
His job position is effective Jan. 19, 2015.
