CTA to launch annual maintenance conference
TORONTO (March 6, 2002) — After flirting with the idea for years, the Ontario Trucking Association and Canadian Trucking Alliance will host an annual conference for maintenance managers and mechanics.
The National Truck Maintenance and Technology Conference will debut Sept. 26-27 at the National Trade Centre (CNE Grounds) in Toronto. It will be an annual event, and will run in conjunction with Truck World 2002, Canada’s largest trucking industry exhibition, every second year starting this year.
CTA maintenance and technical advisor Rolf VanderZwaag, will oversee development of conference content.
“Discussions during the initial meetings of the advisory committee have underscored the desire among all participants that the program content be of a quality not available anywhere else,” show organizers said in a statement.
