Customs takes ACE show on the road
WASHINGTON — A series of educational awareness sessions geared to help carriers better understand the ACE Modernization Program will be launched at select sites near the Canada-U.S. border.
The ACE e-Manifest information workshops, which are scheduled in advance of phased-in ACE mandatory deployment at all border crossings — will take place in Canada at the Manitoba Trucking Association offices (Oct. 5, 2006) and the Ontario Trucking Association (Oct. 19, 2006).
Other sessions will take place at the Pembina State Museum, ND, (Oct. 16-17); Buffalo, N.Y. (Oct. 16-17); and Champlain, N.Y. (Oct. 18).
Some of the events are private and may have fees for non members.
Contact your local trucking association or U.S. customs for more info.
