Dana Corp. group to supply new International Truck line
TOLEDO, Ohio – International Truck and Engine Corp. has selected Dana Corp. Spicer Driveshaft and Spicer Heavy Axle and Brake Group to supply Spicer Life driveshafts, as well as Spicer steering shafts, steer axles, and drive axles as standard equipment on the new International 4000 Series medium-duty truck.
The 4000 Series line, which was unveiled yesterday in Las Vegas, will incorporate Spicer Life 70, 100, and 140 series assemblies. The vehicles will also include Spicer I-series steer axles, 15,000-to-26,000-pound single drive axles, and 40,000-pound tandem drive axles into this new series of medium-duty vehicles.
