Dana’s Canadian factories meet quality tests

McHENRY, Ill. (May 3, 2001) — The Dana Brake & Chassis factory in Milton, Ont., has achieved and maintained QS-9000 and ISO-14001 certifications with no non-conformances, the company reported.

No non-conformance to standards were identified within Milton’s systems through 11 on-site audits by SGS-Canada Registrars.

Kevin Judge, vice president of marketing, said fewer than 10% of companies seeking registration pass the initial test. Another Dana facility, in Sudbury, Ont., has completed seven consecutive audits with no non-conformances, Judge added.
