DAT Services sold to TransCore

PORTLAND, Ore. (Feb. 8, 2001) — Jubitz Corp. has sold its DAT Services division, North America’s largest load-matching network, to TransCore Inc., a Texas-based wireless communication company. Financial terms were not disclosed.

TransCore said DAT Services will become the centrepiece of a new commercial services group that plans to integrate freight-matching capability with fleet management and electronic commerce technology.

DAT Services will remain headquartered in the Portland, Ore., area. The company has nearly 17,000 customers and offers access to Canadian loads and trucks through an agreement with Link Logistics of Mississauga, Ont.
