Day & Ross, Armour drivers impress at truck champs
DIEPPE, N.B. – Day & Ross Transportation was the top carrier team at the 2011 Atlantic Driving Championships.
The Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association announced the winners on its website. They are:
Straight Truck — Roy Mattinson, Roy B. Mattinson and Sons (John Chambers, Armour Transportation, Chris Underwood, Armour Transportation 2nd and 3rd respectively).
Single Tandem — Steve MacPhee, Day and Ross Transportation (Herb Peters, Day and Ross, 2nd, Don Hachey, Day and Ross, 3rd).
Tandem Tandem: Richard Patriquin, Prince Freight Lines (Alan Constantine, Armour, 2nd, Scott Naugler, Midland Transport 3rd).
Super B Train: Shawn Pieschke, The TDL Group (Brian Naves, Gerald Battist, 2nd, Glenn Fisher, The TDL Group, 3rd).
Rookie of the Year: Richard Patriquin, Prince Freight Lines.
