Dead Blow Hammer
Snap-on Tools says its HBFE Series Dead Blow Hammer gives repairmen and technicians a hammer with maximum striking force and a comfortable grip. The hammer has an internal steel canister and compact, heavy-capped head that contributes to reduced rebound after striking and a 30% increase in force. The handle shank is made of a lightweight composite material for added balance, greater striking speed, and reduced shock. Snap-on sells the hammers individually in 16- or 56-ounce sizes, or as a three-piece set with a 24-, 32- and 48-ounce hammer.
