Deadline for bridge B-pass refunds extended
FREDERICTON — New Brunswick drivers have until June 30 to return their Saint John Harbour Bridge B-pass for a refund.
The deadline to return the devices was extended from this week to the end of une, Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Claude Williams announced.
Now that the tolls have been removed from the Saint John Harbour Bridge, the devices used for automatic payment are no longer required.
Williams also said that St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation in Saint John has a campaign to collect donated B-pass devices and the refund will go to charity.
"Individuals can turn in their passes at the hospital, and if there are remaining dollars on the account, that money will go toward fund-raising initiatives through the foundation."
